Summer Wage Rates and instructions are now set by the Controller. Summer employment begins on May 13 and runs through September 6. There is a new FSA requirement by the IRS of all students working in the summer. Please urge your employees to complete the form for Human Resources when you hire them. Please refer to Information for Employers.
All student positions for the academic can be advertised on JobX at this time for eligible students on Work-Study but cannot be officially hired on JobX until July 1. Please note that non-Work-Study students are not eligible to keep positions they held this summer or last year, the jobs must be advertised again. Please give priority to Work-Study applicants. Jobs will not open to non-Work-Study applications until October 1. Please make sure to hire students on JobX *before* scheduling them for work.
INFORMATION FOR EMPLOYERS on the left is required reading for any college employer and will answer many questions and provide links to more detail.
By law, students must complete their mandatory payroll paperwork and be hired officially in JobX before beginning work. Do not employ anyone until they've completed their forms.

Non-Work-Study and Spot Job Hires
